Traditionally Carbonara is served with a long spaghetti type noodle. You are welcome to use that kind of noodle or a bow tie noodle. Or really any kind of pasta noodle you have in your pantry. When I prepared this meal the grocery store was out of pasta, so I used a penne noodle because that was what I had. I want to mention again that the raw eggs are what make carbonara sauce so for sure you need to use pastureized eggs when making it. You save time with this recipe by using precooked chicken. This meal is super yummy and packed with a bunch of vegetables. Enjoy!
